The sign over our front door reads STONE CHURCH MEETING HOUSE. Historically, a meeting house provided a place for public assembly, and stood as the hub of a community by drawing together neighbors and friends.  For almost two hundred years, The Stone Church has provided a spirited locale for local charity efforts, fundraising projects, and community assistance in Newmarket and surrounding towns. Please let us know about your group and your needs, and we will get back to you with details on how we can help!

March 17, 2012 Saint Baldrick's & Locks of Love

St. Baldrick's

Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join us on St. Patrick's Day for this very special St. Baldrick's event. Whether you decide to shave your head, shave your beard or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement and part of the cure. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Please get involved and give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Visit our website to sign up for this event.  http://www.stbaldricks.org/events/stonechurch

Locks of Love

Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. We meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. The prostheses we provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers.

Please call Lindsey at (603) 292-5011 to sign up or ask questions
